BRIDGEND -- Bernhard Langer has a seven-stroke cushion to take into the third round of the Senior British Open after shooting a 5-under 66 Friday to add to his opening 65. Jason Grilli Rangers Jersey . The German is on 11-under 131 overall at a sunny Royal Porthcawl with Scotlands Colin Montgomerie and South African-based Englishman Chris Williams tied for second on 4-under 138. Montgomerie shot 66 while Williams added a 70 to his opening 68. Spaniard Pedro Linhart (69) was a further shot back in fourth, while Americans Bob Tway (73) and Tom Watson (66) shared fifth on 2-under 140. Watson had a faultless round of 66 with three birdies, an eagle at the 18th and no dropped shots. Langer was beaten in a playoff by Mark Wiebe of the United States in last years championship at Royal Birkdale after blowing a two-stroke lead on the final hole when he failed to get out of a greenside bunker. "It still hurts when I think about it," Langer said. "If you put me in that situation a hundred times, I think I would win 98 or 99." Langer started with a bogey five at the opening hole when he pulled a 4-iron into a bad lie, hit his second over the green and didnt get up and down. He recovered with three straight birdies from the fourth, hitting a sand-wedge to six feet, a 3-iron to seven feet and chipped his third to three feet on the par-five sixth and sank it. Two more birdies came at Nos. 11 and 12, he saved his par at the 14th with a 15-foot putt, then hit a drive and a 5-iron to 10 feet at the 18th and just missed his eagle attempt. "I played very aggressive and smart today," said Langer, who was champion at Carnoustie in 2010. "I missed a couple of opportunities early on but Im very pleased overall. Playing good golf on a great course is a lot of fun. But you have to be very careful, very smart and hopefully execute properly." Montgomerie hit back from dropping strokes at the first two holes to post six birdies in the next seven, including five on the run from the fifth, for 31 on the first nine holes. He then got two more on the way and just one dropped shot. Despite the impressive round, he wasnt hopeful. "Ive got a massive mountain to climb to catch Bernhard," admitted Montgomerie. Tway, only two behind Langer overnight, got to 5 under with a birdie at the sixth, but then slipped to level par before closing with two birdies. Fred Couples had to settle for a par 71, while Tom Pernice Jr. came back from an opening 78 to bag eight birdies and drop just one shot for 64 and the best round of the tournament so far. Wiebe, playing with Langer, made an early exit after shooting 77 for an 11-over 153 -- some 22 strokes worse than the man he beat last year. Taylor Hearn Jersey . The 33-year-old English midfielder went on to earn a contract and turn heads with highlight-reel goals. Russell saw action in 18 games, including 10 starts, but missed the last two with a thigh muscle strain. He had started four of the six games before that. Manager Ryan Nelsen has appreciated his character, experience and versatility. "Before he got injured, his last two or three games, he was arguably our best player," said Nelsen. Russell scored three goals, two of which were goal-of-the-week nominees. Not a bad return on investment considering Toronto (6-17-11) scored just 30 goal in 34 games. He opened his TFC account in spectacular fashion April 6 in just his second start, securing a 2-2 comeback tie with FC Dallas with a 90th-minute long-range rocket. Russell deftly controlled a pass from the left flank with his foot and then hammered it home. The timely goal, Torontos second in six minutes, was so good that fullback Richard Eckersley injured a hamstring celebrating it. Russells most recent goal, against D.C. United on Sept. 28, was just as impressive. He controlled a deflected chip on his chest just outside the six-yard box and then turned, swinging his right leg to bang the ball in. It was a technically beautiful, stylish goal. The Brit turned his back and pointed to the name on the back of his jersey to punctuate his goal celebration, (His other goal wasnt half-bad either, a confident right-footed shot on the edge of the box on Sept. 21 against Sporting Kansas City). Russell says he has always had a flair for the dramatic in scoring, with his goal-to-game ratio improving over the years. He just wishes he had more been on the field more to show it this season. Injuries and the presence of Matias Laba, Jonathan Osorio and Jeremy Hall limited his play. And, as Nelsen notes, it takes time to adjust to MLS. Russell, however, says he has already established one thing. "I know that I can score in the MLS, I know Ive got the ability to do thaat," he said. Buddy Bell Jersey. Russell spent six seasons with Norwich City before joining Stoke City in 2003. He returned to Norwich in 2007, signed on with Preston North End in 2010 and had stints with Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth. His preferred position is central midfield but he has also played as a forward and defender. About two years ago, he began planning to play in North America. Having previously spent time vacationing in North America, he liked the lifestyle. He already has a home in Las Vegas and expects to spend more time in North America in the future "I wanted to experience a different culture and a different way of football," he said, "And hopefully that would aid me in my learning experience. And the short time that Ive been here so far has been fantastic in terms of that learning experience." He chose Portsmouth, a team that has experienced financial issues, as his last club in England because he could sign a month-to-month contract that would give him the flexibility to leave in time for the MLS season. His decision was made all the easier because he was single — and mobile. An East London native — and Spurs fan — Russell knew TFC assistant coach Jim Brennan from his time at Norwich. Russell was in Florida during pre-season this year, looking at possibly joining a North American club. "People knew about me, but they wanted to see me play. Which was fine," he said. "I wanted to come out here so I was happy to gamble on myself and show them what I could do. "I could have stayed in England and quite comfortably played." He ran into Brennan during a Toronto pre-season game against Orlando City — Russell knew the Orlando clubs owner and asked if he could train with them — and was invited to the TFC camp. "Lucky for me," said Russell. He thought it would last just two days, but it led to a contract. Russell should know soon whether he will be back. With the season over, Toronto is holding meetings with its players to discuss the future. ' ' '

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Michigan knew Florida State would present problems after watching the Seminoles pick apart a talented VCU squad in their first game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. Shop Adidas Basketball Shoes . What the Wolverines didnt know is that theyre a lot more resilient than they might have realized. Nik Stauskas scored 26 points, including seven in overtime, as No. 14 Michigan erased a 16-point second-half deficit to beat Florida State 82-80 Friday in the island tournament. The win earned the Wolverines (4-1) a spot in Sundays championship game against Charlotte, which beat Northeastern 86-77 in the other semifinal. "I think we just didnt want to go home with another loss on our chest. We came together as a team," Michigan guard Derrick Walton Jr. said. "We stayed together the whole time and possession after possession we got stops and it paid off at the end." Walton Jr. added 15 points and Mitch McGary had 14 points and 12 rebounds in his third game back from a back injury. McGary logged 33 minutes and went just 6 for 15 from the field, but kept the Wolverines competitive inside against the much bigger Seminoles front line. "Tonight was a battle. I think we stuck together as a team and showed our core values tonight," McGary said. "Going in at halftime we were down 10 and we still had a positive attitude toward the game, we just knew we needed to get stops each possession. "Theres not a 10-point basket we could use to get back in the game. We just had to grind it out each possession and thats that we did," he said. FSU (4-1) had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but a midcourt heave by Aaron Thomas bounced off the backboard. Ian Miller had 19 points to lead four Seminoles players in double figures, but he had just three after halftime. Okaro White added 18 points and Montay Brandon chipped in 14 in the Seminoles first loss of the season. Coach Leonard Hamilton said he thought Michigans change to a 1-3-1 zone defence disrupted not Miller, but the flow of his entire team. He also said that self-inflicted mistakes when players dribbled off their feet or stepped out of bounds late in the game were too much to overcome. "It made us tentative, we were not nearly as aggressive and then on the defensive end they did a very good job of attacking the basket and getting to the foul line," Hamilton said. "We tried to attack the basket and we couldnt get to the foul line ... they deserved this victory today." Michigan came out aggressive in overtime, with Stauskas scoring six of the Wolverines first eight points. He made one of two foul shots with 1:17 to play to put Michigan up 80-77. The Seminoles misfired on two possessions that could have tied it, and Walton made a pair of free throws to make it 82-77 with 14.8 seconds left. FSU wasnt finished, though. Miller broke a second half scoring drought with a 3-pointer that made it 82-80 with just 5 seconds remaining. After trailing by double figures for most of the second half, the Wolverines got a steal and 3-pointer by Spike Albrecht to cut the lead to 56-51 with 9:04 to play in regulation. Brandon scored six straight points for FSU to make it 63-54, before a basket by Stauskas got the Wolverines back within seven. Walton then got loose under the basket a few possessions later and was fouled as his layup dropped through to make it 64-58 with 3:52 remaining. He hit the free throw to complete the three-point play. The Wolverines kept scrapping and got a 3-pointer from Robinson to pull back within 67-63. Robinson then got a strip on defence and was fouled on the fast break. He hit a pair of free throws to cut the lead to just a basket. Two foul shots on the other end by Devon Bookert put FSU back up by four, but it went right back to 69-67 on a two free throws by Stauskas with less than a minute to play. FSU took the shot clock down, but Bookerts 3-pointer from the corner was long. Michigan coach John Beilein said his team will only get better, and expects McGary to continue to be a key cog in that development. "You could see it a couple of times he wasnt ready for the 33 minutes," He said. "Hes so far (away), his timing and all those things are so far off. But he gives us some energy and some rebounding that few people in the country have right now." Latest Adidas Basketball Shoes . OAKLAND, Calif. Mets Jerseys 2019 . -- Golden State made a move to fill an important role behind point guard Stephen Curry on the first day teams were allowed to speak with free agents. The Warriors and guard Shaun Livingston agreed to a three-year contract worth about $16 million Tuesday night, a person familiar with the deal said. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because teams cant sign free agents until the NBAs moratorium ends July 10. "We intend to enter into a player contract with Shaun Livingston once the moratorium period ends," Warriors general manager Bob Myers confirmed in a statement. Per league rules, Myers could not comment further. Yahoo Sports first reported the agreement. The Warriors are hoping Livingston can bring some relief off the bench behind Curry, which proved problematic at times last season after Jarrett Jack left for Cleveland in free agency. Golden State started the season with Toney Douglas before trading him to Miami and acquiring Jordan Crawford and Steve Blake in separate trades. Crawford and Blake are not expected back. The 28-year-old Livingston averaged 8.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists with Brooklyn last season. The veteran guard started 54 games -- several when point guard Deron Williams was injured -- to help the Nets rebound from a horrific start and reach the second round of the playoffs. "Thank you Brooklyn for embracing me....," Livingston wrote on Twitter. "Golden State, excited to be part of the movement!!!" The 6-foot-7 Livingston is a big, versatile point guard that would seem to fit well in new coach Steve Kerrs system, which is predicated on ball movement and slashing. Livingston is known for his good instincts and strong post game, and his defence has improved throughout his career, which was nearly cut short by a severe knee injury. Livingstons days on the court seemed over when he tore three ligaments and dislocated his left kneecap with the Los Angeles Clippers in a game against Charlotte on Feb. 26, 2007. Livingston, who skipped college and was the No. 4 pick in the 2004 draft, missed an entire season and played in just 12 games with Oklahoma City and Miami when he returned in 2008-09. Livingston has worked his way back ever since, and he became a solid rotation regular for the Nets last season. The Warriors will be the ninth team he has played for in his professional career. James Harden wasnt worried and told his coach as much. "He was fired up but I told him: Its OK. Were going to be all right," Harden said. And they were. Houston scored 17 straight points after that timeout, led by 10 from Harden, to take the lead and roll to an easy 129-106 win.The National Hockey League Department of Player Safety will not suspend Minnesota Wild forward Nino Niederreiter for his hit on Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows during Wednesdays game. In a series of tweets, it is explained by the Department of Player Safety that Niederreiter makes full body contact with Burrows and although there is headd contact, he does not "pick" the head in the course of making the hit. New York Mets Shirts. Burrows immediately left the ice under his own power and went straight to the Canucks dressing room after taking the hit but did return to the bench shortly thereafter.   But in saying that you want to win

TAMPA, Fla. Cecil Cooper Jersey . -- The Tampa Bay Lightning finally came out on the winning side of a one-goal game at home. Nikita Kucherov scored the lone shootout goal and the Lightning beat the Ottawa Senators 4-3 on Thursday night. Kucherov beat Craig Anderson on the first shot during the shootout, while Lightning goalie Ben Bishop stopped all three shots he faced. Tyler Johnson, B.J. Crombeen and Ondrej Palat scored in regulation for the Lightning, who had lost each of their previous five home games (0-3-2) by one goal. Victor Hedman, who sat out a game with a leg injury, had three assists in his return. "We want to be up there in the top of the league," Hedman said. "We have to find ways to win." Tampa Bay moved into a first-place tie with Boston -- which has two games at hand -- in the Atlantic Division. Erik Karlsson, Clarke MacArthur and Chris Neil had the Ottawa goals. The Senators are 2-6 in shootouts this season. "Its a skills competition," Anderson said. "It should be reserved for All-Star games." Neil tied it at 3 from the right circle with 2:18 remaining in the third. It was his 100th NHL goal. "It was a while coming," said Neil, who has played in 824 NHL games. "Obviously, the way I play, just plugging around and sticking around, it is a milestone. Ive got the puck. It will go up in my basement." Tampa Bay went ahead 3-2 at 5:31 of the third when Martin St. Louis extended his point streak to nine games by sending a pass through the slot to Palat, who scored from just below the left circle. "You dont like to give up the extra point to somebody in our division, but I just want to make sure we get two," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. St. Louis (963) moved within two points of tying Maurice Richard (965) for 85th on the NHL list. Crombeens redirection put the Lightning up 2-1 at 3:30 of the second. MacArthur got the Senators even at 2 by putting an in-close power-play shot past Bishop with 3:03 left in the second. Ottawas power play, the NHLs top-ranked road unit, had mixed results in its second opportunity in the first period. After Johnson beat Anderson for a short-handed goal at 14:32, Karlsson tied it at 1 on his third goal and 23rd man-advantage point of the season 40 seconds later. The Senators are 29th in the home power-play rankings. "You tell me. Ive been trying to answer that question for 50 games," Ottawa coach Paul MacLean said. "Im not sure if its a comfort level or what it is, but weve got to keep working on it. We believe that if we continue to work at it, its going to get good everywhere." Anderson was coming off a 2-0 victory Tuesday at Washington, which was the Senators second straight road shutout. NOTES: Tampa Bay star Steven Stamkos, sidelined since breaking his right shin on Nov. 11, was OK after taking a spill during a drill at the teams morning skate. "I was kind of laughing," Stamkos said. "Its the first time Ive fallen in 10 weeks. Just knowing that everything was fine, you get right back up, I didnt feel anything whatsoever. So, thats nice." Stamkos, who hasnt ruled out playing in the Sochi Olympics next month, was scheduled to have X-rays Thursday night to see how the leg is progressing. ... The top-ranked and world champion All Blacks took their recent dominance a significant step further by winning at Ellis Park for the first time in 16 years and scoring five tries in the intimidating inner-city cauldron against a No. 2-ranked Springboks team that probably played as well as it could on attack -- and scored four tries against the All Blacks for the first time in nearly a decade. New Zealands fourth try and title-winning blow came in the 61st minute of a breathless contest when replacement flyhalf Beauden Barrett sliced through, and outstanding No. 8 Kieran Read scored the fifth two minutes later to completely shatter the Boks. "Days like today are the reason you put on the boots," All Blacks captain Richie McCaw said after his 120th test but first at Ellis. Coach Steve Hansen opened his media conference by saying he wanted to congratulate both teams on "a very special game of rugby." "Both sets of players left everything on the park and both countries should be very proud of their teams," Hansen said. But it is mighty New Zealand which holds every major title it is eligible for. The All Blacks, playing 20 minutes of the second half a man down, took everything a desperate South Africa could muster and finished a gripping match stronger for a sixth win from six in the championship. "If we sit down and analyze the game, Im sure we can find a lot of positives," Springboks skipper Jean de Villiers said of his shattered team. "But we can never be happy with this result." De Villiers scored South Africas bonus-point fourth try in the 58th and for just under three minutes with a roaring crowd behind it, the home team sensed the possibility of stealing the title with the crucial bonus point it needed. The Boks had to then just win by more than seven and shut down the All Blacks for an against-the-odds turnaround. Barrett killed that dream straight away, earning the bonus point the All Blacks needed to win the competition no matter the result as he busted through the defence and skipped clear. Read, with a rampaging break down the left flank, added another try for good measure, the hammer blow that left no doubt as to the sports current leaders. "Weve had some good performances over a few years, but this is probably right up the top," Hansen said. Most spectators would agree. Right at the start, Ben Smith cut inside aa host of South African defenders off a defence-opening Read pass for the first try in the 12th minute and New Zealands first lead. Hank Aaron Jersey. . It was the wingers eighth try, breaking the single-season record. Opposite number Bryan Habana replied with two scores in two minutes to become the leading try-scorer in the competitions history, the records a sideshow to the immense overall contest that South Africa suddenly led, though Habana left straight after his second try with a leg injury. Flanker Liam Messam then scored two tries for the All Blacks, the second well after the halftime hooter in a brilliant display of the cleverness and creativity of their game as they went left, right and then left again to finally break through and change the momentum completely by leading 21-15 at halftime. Winger Willie le Roux and captain De Villiers pushed the 60,000 people at a packed and breathless Ellis toward ecstasy with South Africas two second-half tries in the 47th and 58th. In two crucial stages in the second half, the All Blacks had to front up with 14 men after Messam and then prop Ben Franks were sin-binned. The All Blacks showed guts and then class as tries by Barrett and Read finished off a test that exceeded the immense hype. "It was probably one of the best games Ive ever been involved in," Springboks coach Heyneke Meyer said. But in saying that you want to win." Overall, rugbys fiercest rivals shared nine tries and the lead changed hands continually at the venue where their near 100-year-old rivalry has often played out in spine-tingling fashion and where the momentous 1995 World Cup final went the Springboks way. At a sellout on Saturday, a South African jet flew low over the stadium three times before kickoff in a recreation of that 95 final and South Africa sensed it might have that precious edge again. But New Zealand, clinical in attack and desperate and brave at times in defence, emerged to hold on to the southern hemisphere title and beat the Boks at Ellis for the first time since 1997. At the end, the All Blacks, rather than celebrating wildly, slumped over in exhaustion. "When youve won a game that you know youve really had to work hard for, its gratifying and satisfying," Hansen said. "First a sense of relief and then that feeling of joy. We came here and we got told history was against us." ------ New Zealand 38 (Liam Messam 2, Ben Smith, Beauden Barrett, Kieran Read tries; Aaron Cruden 3 conversions, Barrett 2 conversions, penalty), South Africa 27 (Bryan Habana 2, Willie le Roux, Jean de Villiers tries; Morne Steyn 2 conversions, penalty). HT: 21-15. ' ' '

Cleveland cant afford to be without Brantley, who is second in the majors with eight outfield assists, for very long. He sounded encouraged after participating in some activities Wednesday. "Im getting better every day," Brantley said. "I played catch, hit off a tee and got a good workout in. Its all positive." The concussion was diagnosed when Brantley had tests Tuesday at the Cleveland Clinic. He was injured trying to break up a double play sliding into second base Monday. "Michael is doing very well," manager Terry Francona said. "Everything that has been introduced to him, the reaction tests, hes done very well." The team hopes to avoid placing Brantley on the seven-day concussion list. "The doctors, trainers and Michael think that Saturday is realistic," Francona said. "So as opposed to missing seven games, he could maybe miss five games." "I dont want to put a deadline on anything," Brantley said. "My goal is get back out there as fast as possible." Brantley was removed from Mondays game and passed an initial concussion test, but was sent to the hospital after experiencing discomfort during his pregame routine Tuesday. The Indians also hope the rainout will cool off the red-hot Mike Trout, who homered twice and had four RBIs in the Angels 9-3 win Tuesday. Francona joked following the game that he would like to see Trout get a day off so the two-time All-Star didnt tire out. Trout is batting .410 with eight homers and 26 RBIs over his last 22 games and has 14 RBIs in his last 13 games against Cleveland. While Trout has been sizzling, designated hitter Raul Ibanez has struggled with a .153 average. Manager Mike Scioscia is sticking with the 42-year-old veteran. "I think Raul hopefully is getting more comfortable in the box. Hes had some good at-bats in this series," Scioscia said. Ibanez is getting playing time because rookie C.J. Cron is also battling a slump and has only played once in the last week. The right-handed hitter is batting .275 this season, but is just 3 for his last 20 with seven strikeouts. Since the teams conclude the series Thursday with a noon start, the decision was made to not play a doubleheader and the game will be made up on a mutual day off. "Its never in anybodys best interest to play a doubleheader," Scioscia said. Both teams will stick with Wednesdays scheduled starters for the series finale. Left-hander C.J. Wilson will pitch for the Angels against right-hander Justin Masterson. Fake White Sox Jerseys .ca. Interleague play has been a boon for Major League Baseball. Air Jordan Discount . For the Blue Jays, not so much. This weekend, battling to get back over the .500 mark, John Gibbons and company kick off a stretch of seven straight games against the National League. They start with three at Pittsburgh against the struggling Pirates and then follow up that series with two at Philadelphia before returning home the next night to kick off a two-game set at Rogers Centre with the Phillies. After salvaging the final game of their three-game set at Kansas City on Thursday night with a 7-3 victory, the Jays sit at 13-15 but thanks largely to the injuries and flaws of the other teams in the AL East, they are still just two-and-a-half games back of the first place Yankees. Still, if the Blue Jays are going to keep it that close, theyve got to start beating the National League clubs with more regularity. Since interleague play came into being in 1997, the Blue Jays have compiled a record of 143-160. The first 16 years, the games were compressed into a small portion of the schedule when school was out in June and early July for the most part. Last season, with Houston moving to the American League, there were 15 teams in each league so there pretty well had to be at least one interleague game each and every day of the season. Last season, the first year under the new format, the Jays actually had a winning record against the National League clubs at 11-9. But overall, the Jays interleague record pales to those of the Yankees and Red Sox. The Yanks are 179-123 over the 17 years heading into this season. Boston is right behind them at 175-128. It isnt just the big boys who have success in interleague play, though. The Angels, who havent won a World Series since 2002, are 174-130 against the senior circuit over that span. The White Sox are 171-132 and even the Minnesota Twins are 165-137. If you average it out over 17 seasons, the Blue Jays have cost themselves about two games per season versus the Yanks and Red Sox in the East by struggling in interleague play. The American League has dominated this annual showdown between the two leagues, having the better record in 13 of the 17 seasons. Oddly enough, though, in the beginning the National League was up four winning seasons to three over the first seven interleague plays. The American League has dominated ever since. Nine American League teams are above .500 in the crossover play to just five National League clubs. The top National League club in interleague play is Atlanta at 148-131, followed by St. Louis at 135-120. Miami has done surprisingly well at 149-141. Luckily for the Blue Jays, the two teams they are playing against over the next seven days havent traditionally done well against the American League. Pittsburgh is the worst at 106-143 and the Phillies are 127-158. The Pirates have really had their troubles this season. After making the playoffs last season for the first time since 1992, the Bucs are 10-18 this time around. They lost one of their top pitchers in A.J Burnett in the offseason as a free agent to the Phillies, while lefty Wandy Rodriguez is recouping from a knee injury. But the Pirates real problem has been cashing in runners. They stranded 28 men in dropping a day/night doubleheader to Baltimore Thursday. On top of that, their number one catcher, Russell Martin of Montreal, is on the disabled list. The Pirates are in a virtual tie for last in the NL Central with the Cubs. The Phillies are only marginally better. They are 13-13, tied with Miami for last in the AL East. Yes the Phillies were stung by the retirement of Roy Halladay in the offseason but like the Pirates, their problem is run production. If you can believe it, their outfielders have only 15 extra base hits and the season is a month old. These are teams the Blue Jays must beat. Anything less than five out of seven will be a failure. One thing to remember about the Phillies is that they won a World Series in 2008; just six years ago. Yet this year, they lost 6,000 season ticket holders and their average attendance drop from a year ago, according to Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer, is 9,129 per game. This, for a team that has known recent success and has a pretty new and fan-friendly ballpark. The inclement weather of April likely plays a major part in the Phillies drop-off, but it just shows fans wont put up with mediocrity forever. I was more than a bit surprised that the team with the second biggest drop-off is Detroit at 5,493 per game. This, for a Tigers team that seems to win the AL Central nearly every year and has been to the World Series, albeit, hasnt won twice in the last eight seasons. You might have missed it but the Dodgers franchise reached a milestone on Wednesday, winning its 10,000th game. The only others to reach that magic figure are the Giants, the Cubs and the Braves. And of those four, the Cubs are the only teams to have played their entire existence in one city. The Dodgers Zack Greinke is putting up some obscure but impressive stats, nonetheless. Hes off to a 5-0 start this season and has made 18 straight starts where he has pitched five innings or more and given up two or fewer runs. That hasnt happened in 100 years -- since 1914. The last time Greinke started a season 6-0, he won the Cy Young Award in 2009 while in the American League. Adam Lind isnt close to returning to the active roster yet. Hes still rehabbing his back. But when he is healthy again, the Blue Jays could face an interesting dilemma if Juan Francisco keeps hitting the way he is. There is no way the Jays can carry Edwin Encarnacion, Lind and Francisco on the same roster. Francisco has one edge over Lind in the versatility department in that he can also play 3rd base in a pinch. Linds not in any kind of jeopardy, but this situation will be interesting to watch. Air Jordan China . -- Brad Gushue of St. Jordan China . Lynchs attorney, Ivan Golde, told The Associated Press on Thursday of the plea deal that was reached with the Alameda County District Attorney Office. The plea will be formally entered in court in Oakland, Calif. https://www.jordanchina.us/ . - The RBC Canadian Open will return to Glen Abbey Golf Club next year, marking the 27th time that the national open championship will be played at the Oakville, Ont.The New York Rangers stayed alive in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final thanks to a brilliant performance from Henrik Lundqvist. However, the Los Angeles Kings will get another shot at winning their second championship in three years when the clubs meet tonight at Staples Center. You can listen to the game on TSN Radio at 8pm et/5pm pt and watch the post-game news conferences on TSN.ca and TSN GO. The Rangers lost the first three tests of this best-of-seven set, but finally broke through with a 2-1 victory Wednesday in New York. Lundqvist was the clear star for the Blueshirts, stopping 40 shots, including all 15 in a frantic third period to keep Los Angeles from mounting another comeback win in this series. Martin St. Louis netted the deciding goal early in the second to help the Rangers push the series to tonights Game 5 battle in the City of Angels. Faced with the prospect of being the first team to be swept out of the Stanley Cup Finals since Detroit beat the Washington Capitals in 1998, Lundqvist and his club improved to 11-2 in their last 13 elimination games and 5-0 during these playoffs. "We didnt want that Cup out on our home ice. The thought of it makes me sick," Lundqvist admitted. "Its about competing, you have to be extremely focused, one mistake and the seasons over. Exciting. Tough, but fun." The 32-year-old Swedish starter now owns an 8-0 record, 0.99 GAA, a .968 save percentage and two shutouts in his last eight games when facing elimination at home. Benoit Pouliot recorded a first-period tally for the Rangers, who hung on despite posting only one shot in the games final 20 minutes. Pouliots goal ended Kings goaltender Jonathan Quicks shutout streak at 123 minutes, 1 second. Dustin Brown scored and Quick made 17 saves for the Kings, who have a chance to celebrate winning their second Cup on home ice since 2012. L.A. beat New Jersey in six games for the crown in 2012. The Kings also opened a 3-0 lead in that series, but lost two straight before lifting the Cup at the Staples Center in Game 6. "It doesnt mean a whole lot. We wanted to close it out tonight, and we didnt do it," said Kings forward Anze Kopitar of being unable to sweep the Rangers. "But now were going home, and were going to try to close it there." In addition to a superb performance from their star goaltender, the Rangers also received the benefit of some "puck luck" in posting the franchises first Cup Finals victory on home ice since the clinching Game 7 of the 1994 Finals against Vancouver. Their second one led to the game winner. During an odd-man rush, Derek Stepan attempted a dish to Chris Kreider in the slot, but his stick shattered and the puck slid off a Kings defeender before snaking under a needlessly-sliding Quick. Air Jordan Outlet. St. Louis wisely stayed in position on the left wing and tapped the puck in from the near-side post at the 6:27 mark of the second period to give the hosts a 2-0 advantage. Brown halved the Kings deficit with 8:46 played on a breakaway, moving past Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi -- whose stick shattered at the right point -- and beating Lundqvist after several dekes from atop the crease. The score came two seconds after a Tyler Toffoli slashing minor expired. Los Angeles offense seemed to kick into another gear at that point, but Lundqvist stayed calm under the onslaught to prevent the Kings from claiming another win after falling behind 2-0 in a game. The Rangers blew two-goal leads en route to losing both Games 1 and 2 at L.A. beyond regulation, but were able to survive Game 4 with the win. On two occasions in Wednesdays game, the puck sat on the goal line behind Lundqvist and went no further thanks to a little help from his teammates. Midway through the first period, Jeff Carter had a prime chance to knot the score at 1-1 when a puck trickled between Lundqvists pads and headed for goal. Carter, however, failed to connect on his first chance and Rangers defenseman Anton Stralman was able to clear the disc out of harms way before the Kings forward could get a second crack at it. With time winding down in the third period, the situation repeated itself. Only this time, a bit of snow on the ice and the glove hand of New Yorks Derek Stepan saved the day. The puck found its way between Lundqvists pads again and slowed down just before the goal line when Stepan swept it out of danger with his fingertips. "Its not easy. The stress level is a little high obviously when the puck is laying there on the goal line," said St. Louis. "We had a little puck luck tonight. And you take those." The Rangers have won an NHL record eight straight home playoff games when their season was on the line, since Game 4 of the 2008 Eastern Conference semifinals vs. Pittsburgh. Detroit (1949-55) and the Montreal Canadiens (1934-40) previously shared the top spot with seven in a row. New York will need to extend that NHL record to win this series, but first it has to survive tonights elimination game on the road. Only four teams in NHL history have come back from down 3-0 to win a best-of- seven set, and only the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs pulled it off in the Stanley Cup Finals when they beat Detroit. The Kings, of course, became the fourth NHL team to come back from down 3-0 when they rallied to beat San Jose in the first round of this postseason. If the Rangers can stave off elimination again, the clubs will meet Monday in New York for Game 6. ' ' '

The Colonels never led in what quickly became a blowout. It took over four minutes for Nicholls to get its second basket and then six minutes to get its third. Nicholls started the game 4-of-21 as the Badgers ran out to a 39-8 lead, and it finished the half with an abysmal 24.1 field goal percentage. ATLANTA -- Gregg Popovich said he couldnt enjoy a lopsided win over longtime Spurs assistant Mike Budenholzer. Nike Air Max 90 Baratas Falsas . Tim Duncan had 17 points and 16 rebounds in another dominant performance against Atlanta and San Antonio coasted to a 105-79 win over the short-handed Hawks on Friday night. Budenholzer, in his first season as the Hawks coach, was in the San Antonio organization for 19 years, including 17 as an assistant, and the last six as Popovichs top aide. Popovich said facing Budenholzer was difficult. "Actually, its no fun at all, to tell you the truth," Popovich said. "If you win, you feel bad. If you lose you always feel bad. Its a no-win when that happens." The Hawks, already short-handed without Pero Antic and DeMarre Carroll, lost point guard Jeff Teague to a left ankle sprain in the second period. Teague didnt return and is expected to miss at least two games. Boris Diaw led the Spurs with 21 points. Patty Mills, who made a career-high six 3-pointers, had 18 points. Cory Joseph started for Kawhi Leonard, who will miss three to four weeks with a broken bone in his right hand. Joseph had eight points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Leonard joined starting centre Tiago Splitter (sprained right shoulder) and former starter Danny Green (broken left index finger) on San Antonios injured list. Mills said it was "everyones mindset" to step up for the missing players. "Weve got big shoes to fill until everyone gets back," Mills said. "Guys go down, weve still got to stick to the game plan and we were able to do that tonight." The Hawks have an even longer injury list. Budenholzer said Teague will not be with the team for a two-game trip to Milwaukee and Oklahoma City. The Hawks play at Milwaukee on Saturday night. "We will hope that Jeff recovers quickly," Budenholzer said. Teague was leading the Hawks with nine points when he hurt his ankle by landing on Duncans foot. Teague then limped off the court. Even with Teague, the Hawks had only 10 players in uniform. They played their first game after losing Antic for two to four weeks with a stress fracture in his right ankle. Antic had been the replacement for Al Horford, who was lost for the season when he tore his right pectoral muscle on Dec. 26. Carroll was held out with a mild strain to his left hamstring. Budenholzer said the Hawks cant focus on the injuries. "I think nobody else in the league cares if theres a mounting toll or what our injury status is," Budenholzer said. Paul Millsaps 15 points led the Hawks, who set a season scoring low. Duncan, who blocked four shots, and point guard Tony Parker didnt return after leaving the game with the Spurs leading 77-50 late in the third quarter. The Spurs used backup players in the fourth. Parker had 11 points and seven assists. Duncan, who had 23 points and 21 rebounds in the Spurs 102-100 win over the Hawks on Dec. 2 in San Antonio, enjoyed a strong start in the rematch. He blocked Millsaps shot on the Hawks first possession, then hit a jumper before blocking an attempt by Gustavo Ayon on Atlantas next attempt. The Hawks last lead was 7-6. Back-to-back baskets by Parker and Duncan gave San Antonio the lead for good. Mills sank three 3-pointers in the final minutes of the opening period to stretch the lead to 27-14. The Spurs kept the lead in double figures the remainder of the game. "It doesnt make us feel any better, but this is what they do," said Atlantas Kyle Korver. "Theyre a well-oiled machine." Korver scored his only points on a 3-pointer with about 6 minutes remaining in the first half. He extended his NBA record to 111 consecutive games with a 3-pointer. Budenholzer was called for a technical foul in the second quarter. NOTES: Popovich tied Red Auerbach for 10th place all-time with 938 wins. ... Duncan posted his 17th double-double of the season. ... The Hawks set their previous scoring low in an 83-80 loss to Houston on Jan. 10. ... The Spurs are 6-0 on the road against Eastern Conference teams. ... Nike Air Max Thea Baratas . Pikul Khueanpet scored early in the second half and Kanjana Sungngoen made it 2-0 in the 65th minute of the playoff. Jones, from Winnipeg, built a 3-0 advantage after three ends by scoring two in the second and one in the third. Chinas skip Bingyu Wang cut that lead to 3-1 in the fourth before Canada added another three in the fifth for a 6-1 lead.Roberto Martinez admitted he was embarrassed by Evertons horrible showing as they went down 4-0 at Liverpool. The scoreline barely reflected the pattern of the game as Liverpool had 41 shots to their rivals three and scored twice either side of Ramiro Funes Moris red card for a foul on Divock Origi.Origi and Mamadou Sakho netted headers in the two minutes before half-time, and there were further goals for Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho. Martinez is yet to win a derby, and the manner of the defeat will do nothing to appease his critics among the Everton support ahead of Saturdays FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United. Martinez called Evertons derby performance an embarrassment The Spaniard made no attempt to sugar-coat the evenings events afterwards, telling Sky Sports: It was a horrible, horrible showing. It started with the best intentions but then very close to half-time (there was) an inability to do the basics right and do the things you have to do in any performance.Martinez was forced to replace Gareth Barry at the break and later lost John Stones to illness moments after the defenders poor pass had contributed to Liverpools third goal.Gareth Barry picking up an injury at half-time, John Stones feeling ill and having stomach cramps. The whole thing is one after the other, a chain reaction of a disastrous group of actions that made it an impossible experience, Martinez said. Ramiro Funes Mori was shown a straight red for a foul on Divock Origi And on Funes Moris dismissal, which led to Origi leaving the field on a stretcher, he said: Itss a challenge that he should be avoiding. Nike Air Max 98 Baratas. Youre getting carried away with the derby.Maybe its the first time Ramiro is involved in this sort of game and he got carried away. I can understand the red card, maybe a yellow card I could understand as well. But top and bottom, we didnt cope with the emotions of the occasion and we didnt control ourselves well enough. Its such a huge game for us it doesnt need much motivation. Obviously were still hurting and we will be hurting for a long, long time but obviously we need to react really, really quickly and prepare for the game on Saturday because its the only way we can get rid of this feeling. Talking points Analysis of a one-sided Merseyside derby Its a feeling of embarrassment. We know we shouldnt put a showing on like this. I know there are sometimes things in football that you cant control, a chain of events that go against you but we brought that onto ourselves. Martinez is facing a defensive crisis for the semi-final, with Phil Jagielka a doubt, Funes Mori banned and Stones now also a concern. He said: Muhamed Besic is someone that can play in that role but to lose John Stones… well have to assess him.On his own future he said: Its not about my job. All I want is to bring success to Everton and its about the players wanting to be themselves, coping with the occasion. We know were one step away from the (FA Cup) final and thats the only thing that can bring satisfaction to our fans. Thats the only thing were going to concentrate on. Also See: Liverpool thump sorry Everton Origi injured in Liverpool win Klopp: Were in a good place Moyes: Everton were terrible ' ' '

ORCHARD PARK, N. Brooklyn Nets Jerseys .Y. - Buffalo Bills coach Doug Marrone is sounding less confident about rookie quarterback EJ Manuels chances of starting in the season finale at New England this weekend. Marrone sidestepped questions Monday about Manuels status after he missed a game because of a swollen left knee. Marrone calls it "a process," adding he wants to get "a peek" at the player once the Bills (6-9) return to practice Tuesday. Thats a switch from what Marrone said last week. In ruling Manuel out against Miami, Marrone felt "110 per cent confident" he would play at New England. If Manuel cant play, backup Thad Lewis will be in line to make his fifth start of the season, and second in a row, after a 19-0 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Theo Pinson Jersey .
